The National Network of Abortion Funds hosts a Virtual Bowl-a-Thon for enthusiastic abortion access supporters who don't live near a local abortion fund. Make a team and recruit your friends to hold an event in your town, or participate as an individual, and raise money for people that need abortions and can't afford them. 

NNAF is a network of local member funds that raise money for people who need abortions and can't afford them. We're at the forefront of a dynamic movement that centers the voices of marginalized people, and works to advocate for expanded abortion access and the repeal of unjust abortion restrictions. We help train, support, and connect member funds all over the US, and beyond, and provide valuable resources, like this Nationwide Abortion Access Bowl-a-Thon!

We also run our own fund. The George Tiller Memorial Abortion Fund is our national abortion fund that helps women to pay for later abortion care, helps those who need to travel out of state for an abortion, or helps those who live in a state that lacks an abortion fund. Women seeking later abortions must often travel very far from their home states to get to clinics that can provide the care they need. Later abortions are also significantly more expensive than first-trimester abortions.
