ABOUT OUR FUND

Magnolia Fund is a grassroots, all-volunteer organization that supports abortion access in the South. We work to identify and eliminate barriers to abortion access by providing financial grants and practical support to those who cannot afford to full cost of an abortion. More often than not, we are the only allies people have as they try to raise money to pay for an abortion.

We are bowling for them. Will you join us to make abortion access a reality in the southeast?

Sign up today!

I AM FIRED UP!

What do I need to do?

Register by creating your own team, joining an existing team or pledging to raise money as an individual. Magnolia Fund's goal is to raise $10,000, so you'll need to set team and personal goals to help us get there.

What even does bowling have to do with it?

Everything! And nothing! The bowling is just a way to get folks excited about fundraising for abortion access and to celebrate raising SO MUCH MONEY. Also puns about balls. On April 9, 2016 from 1pm-5pm ET, we'll get together for a kickass bowling party at Midtown Bowl in Atlanta. The festivities are complete with fun costumes, DIY trophies for winners in several VERY IMPORTANT CATEGORIES (like best puns about balls, natch), and a whole lot of awesome fun. Do you have to bowl well? ONLY IF YOU WANT A TROPHY. But you get one if you bowl poorly too, so we've got you covered.

Tell me about these teams.

Teams work together to raise money toward their goal, which will help us reach our organization goal. Team captains register and start their own teams, set their team and personal goals, then recruit 3-5 additional badass bowlers to join the team. Team captains will also make sure their team members meet their personal fundraising goals and serve as our primary contacts for the event. Don't want to captain a team? No problem. Just register and join one of the existing teams or sign up as an individual. On Bowl-a-Thon day in April, teams bowl together to compete for fun prizes. But the real work takes place in the weeks leading up to the bowling party, when teams reach out to their networks and raise that ca$$$h.

I AM SO IN!

YAY! Click here to register, and be sure to sign up to receive updates from Magnolia stay on top of all the awesome stuff we're doing in the southeast! You should probably like us on Facebook and Twitter, too.

WHY WE BOWL
