IT'S TIME FOR THE 2015 BOWLATHON, EVERYBODY.
In case you aren't familiar:
It's that time of year when we channel all of our feelings of helplessness and rage against the incredibly terrible Texas Legislature into the very real and helpful FUNDING OF ABORTION IN TEXAS!!!
So now that I have your attention, let's go over some facts. Texas is in a bad way when it comes to providing full spectrum reproductive healthcare. Because of Bad Laws like HB2, we are down to 17 clinics in a state of millions of people, and we are very likely headed to be down to 8 by the end of 2015.
To recap that's this place:
with between seventeen and eight clinics to serve twenty-six plus million people.
So now we have nowhere near enough clinics in a state where we already have one of the highest number of uninsured residents (no Medicaid expansion under the Affordable Care Act either!) and a huge population of very low-income people. To put it bluntly, the situation in Texas was like this before:

BUT THAT IS WHERE YOU COME IN! By making it rain on the Lilith Fund you are helping to close the access gap for thousands of Texans!
