WHY I'M BOWLING

I'm bowling because reproductive health is a social justice issue.

I believe everyone should have access to the safe, legal abortions they need, regardless of how much money they have or where they live.

In Texas, the state I've grown to love and am proud to call home, unfair and unnecessary laws passed in recent years have led dozens of clinics to shut their doors and stop providing abortion care. This means a growing number of women now need to travel long distances to their nearest clinics, adding the financial burdens of transportation, lodging, childcare, forgoing paid work, etc. to the already prohibitive cost of abortion services (compliments, for many, of the Hyde Amendment).

These restrictions disproportionately affect low-income families and Texans of color, who stand to benefit from the essential work of the Lilith Fund in helping them cover the expenses associated with abortion access.

Please join me and fellow activists of The Justice League in striving to lift barriers to abortion access and make reproductive justice obtainable for all Texans! Any amount can make an immediate difference with real impact.
