WHY I'M BOWLING

I'm lacing up my shoes and polishing my bowling ball to raise money for the Carolina Abortion Fund. Each day, more than 20 callers reach CAF's 24/7, volunteer-run helpline seeking financial assistance for abortion care, which isn't covered by Medicaid or military insurance in NC. 

But at the Carolina Abortion Fund's current small budget, it can only help around 12% of those callers with funding.

I'm bowling because I believe that everyone should have access to the abortions they need, regardless of how much money they have. Because of unfair and unnecessary laws, safe and legal abortions can be out of reach of those who don't have the money to pay for them. I don't think that's right, so I'm doing something about it.

Remember, because it's a completely volunteer-run organization, more than 95% of donations to the Carolina Abortion Fund goes directly to callers who have contacted the helpline.
