WHY I'M BOWLING

I'm bowling because I believe that everyone (including women, transgender men, and gender-nonconforming individuals) should have access to the abortions they need, regardless of how much money they have.

In the United States, poor women have five times more unintended pregnancies than higher-income women. Six in 10 American women who have an abortion are already mothers. Some poor women seeking abortions report having to forgo paying rent, groceries, or utilities to pay for their procedure.

Because of unfair and unnecessary laws, safe and legal abortions can be out of reach of those who don't have the money to pay for them. I don't think that's right, so I'm doing something about it.

I'm lacing up my shoes and polishing my bowling ball to raise money for my local abortion fund. Please support me and help to ensure that individuals who need an abortion don't have to choose between making a personal, private, safe, legal medical decision and paying for basic necessities for themselves and their families. You can help me hit my goal, and together, we can make an immediate difference with real impact.
