WHY I'M BOWLING

Did you hear about how the GOP tried to sneak anti-abortion language into a bipartisan human trafficking bill? Because women who have been trafficked clearly shouldn't be given access to the full range of reproductive health care, including affordable abortion.

This kind of thing happens all the time and it always makes me mad. But you know what makes me feel better? Donating to support local abortion access.

When I give to Baltimore Abortion Fund, I know I am donating directly to low-income women who would not otherwise be able to afford abortions. I am taking action to make choice a reality for women RIGHT NOW.

I'm bowling because I believe that everyone should have access to the abortions they need, regardless of how much money they have. When women don't have access to safe legal affordable procedures, they are forced to use unsafe black market methods without a doctor's supervision, as has happened in Texas and other states with extreme abortion restrictions.

Because of unfair and unnecessary laws, safe and legal abortions can be out of reach of those who don't have the money to pay for them. I don't think that's right, so I'm doing something about it.

I'm lacing up my shoes and polishing my bowling ball to raise money for my local abortion fund. You can help me hit my goal, and together, we can make an immediate difference with real impact.
