WHY I'M BOWLING

I'm bowling because I believe that everyone should have access to the abortions they need, regardless of how much money they have. Any support you send goes to the Lilith Fund and helps a person get that much closer to a safe and legal abortion. HOW NEAT IS THAT?

Fortunately, we are not alone; we've got Justice on our side, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, that is. She's ready to hammer down her gavel in support of reproductive rights and abortion access, and we're on the home front securing monetary support for what should be a no contest case for bodily autonomy.

Because of unfair and unnecessary laws, safe and legal abortions can be out of reach of those who don't have the money to pay for them. I don't think that's right, so I'm doing something about it. 

Though we stand in the face of many unnecessary, harmful anti-choice bills, we will not back down. There is nothing grand about the GOP, and we're here to tell them how to and what for. We've had enough of their delusional ideas of what is best for our bodies. The fact of the matter is, ONLY WE know what is best for our bodies. It is up to us to show them that they will not break us down. 

No person should be denied access to reproductive healthcare or made to feel shameful for seeking abortion care. Every Texan deserves to have bodily autonomy and simple access to this care, regardless of gender identity, race, socioeconomic status, distance, or any other barriers that may stand in their way. If any of us are denied this care, then we must consider this an attack on healthcare across the board. We must stand together and fight for the dignity of those who need abortion services. 

 I'll be lacing up those stinky old bowling shoes and hitting the greased-up lanes sooner than you can say, "Keep your laws away from my body."
