WHY I'M BOWLING

For 4 years, I got to be a board member for the Lilith Fund. It was A TIME. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to serve on the board and work with such amazing and committed activists.

And in those 4 years, Lilith has grown so much more than I ever could have imagined. 2014 was another historic year for us. We doubled the amount of direct assistance we gave out in 2014 from the previous year, granting our callers nearly $150,000 to access abortion care. We raised our average grants to provide additional assistance to callers. We saw an increase in media attention, expanded our donor base and advocacy and education programs, and continued to bring awareness to our fight to provide true access to abortion.

Even if I'm not on the board anymore, I'm still fighting just as hard for Texans' access to abortion and reproductive healthcare. This is where you come in. Because without you -- without your generous and consistent support, without your DOLLARS -- Lilith definitely could not do the amazing work it does.

Texas is in the midst of another legislative session right now and I can guarantee you we'll see even more restrictive legislation on Texans' abortion access and reproductive healthcare.

Every dollar helps. Regardless of economic circumstances, Texans deserve abortion as a health care option. Lack of access hurts Texans' health and well-being and brings harm to women, families, children and communities. Do it for Texas, y'all.
