WHY I'M BOWLING

Thank you for visiting my page! My name is Nancy Cardenas and I am raising funds for abortion access. 

As our state continues to face drastic restrictions to abortion healthcare, we'll continue to find innovative ways to fight back! Although I bowl from Austin, my home is in the Rio Grande Valley. The Rio Grande Valley faces the brunt of this restrictive legislation. Although abortion restrictions hurt Texans, there are communities across our state that are severely affected. Checkpoints throughout the state prevent the undocumented community from accessing critical reproductive healthcare needs.

I ask for your support as we continue to raise these critical funds to help cities all over the state access reproductive healthcare services.

A medida que nuestro estado continúa enfrentando restricciones drásticas al aborto, vamos a seguir encontrando formas innovadoras para luchar! Aunque yo lo hago de Austin, mi comunidad está en el Valle del Río Grande. El Valle del Río Grande se enfrenta  la peor parte de esta legislación restrictiva. Aunque las restricciones al aborto afectan nuestro estado, hay comunidades en nuestro estado que están gravemente afectados. Los puestos de inmigración en el estado impiden la comunidad indocumentada viajar a cuidades con clinicas con servicios de la salud reproductiva.

Les pido su apoyo para continuar recaudar estos fondos críticos para ayudar a cuidades en todo nuestro estado tener acceso a la salud reproductiva. 

**I'm bowling because I believe that everyone should have access to the abortions they need, regardless of how much money they have.

Because of unfair and unnecessary laws, safe and legal abortions can be out of reach of those who don't have the money to pay for them. I don't think that's right, so I'm doing something about it.

I'm lacing up my shoes and polishing my bowling ball to raise money for my local abortion fund. You can help me hit my goal, and together, we can make an immediate difference with real impact.
